KYIV, Ukraine – October 4, 2026 (STL.News) Russia launched 135 drones and other unmanned aerial weapons at Ukraine overnight and struck Kyiv’s Northern Bridge on Sunday, extending a series of attacks on critical transportation infrastructure as Moscow said it would intensify strikes against Ukraine. The latest barrage coincided with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s visit to Kyiv, where he announced more than €1.3 billion in additional military and energy support for Ukraine.
